A new step in compressor technology


With the completion of design and manufacturing of HARMATTAN series compressors, Sauer & Sohn introduces their first dry compressors. 8 models of this group of OIL Free compressors , are now available.

With production of OIL FREE compressors, Sauer enters into more industries. Industries such as pharmaceutical, medical, chemical and food industries, where, ultra pure air is vital. All stages of design and manufacturing of  HARMATTAN series, have been done by Sauer & Sohn engineers, a complete process that was very challenging for engineering team, since they had to consider all quality standards and implement them in order to meet new environmental regulations along with other technical requirements.
 

But the results of these challenges are very impressive.
                    

Due to the unique design of the pistons material, HARMATTAN compressors do not need oil for lubrication. As a result OIL FREE air compressors with higher quality and better performance can be used in various industries. These compressors have been checked and tested by technical safety inspection institute TüV- SüD of Germany, HARMATTAN series, are manufactured in compliance with ISO 8573-1,  standards class 0. An achievement that makes these compressors unique.

The design of these series of compressors is based on BOXER PRINCIPLE which includes many features. Along a flat design, cylinders have a uniform and quiet movement. Also the crank shaft is manufactured in 5 pieces which have been designed very accurately and all internal forces are in balance. Same as all compressors made by Sauer & Sohn, HARMATTAN series have been designed for working 24/7 none-stop in harsh conditions and ambient temperature of 50 ^° C.
